Leadership Development Committee
The Leadership Development Committee will be composed of at least four past board members; additional members who have never served on the board may be appointed by the President as needed. A current Board Member will be appointed by the President to serve as the Board Advisor. The Chair of LDC will serve as a liaison to the Nominating Committee. The Leadership Development Committee will proactively identify and develop individuals for future leadership roles, based on the strategic leadership needs of ADHA. LDC will build strategies to foster diversity among ADHA leadership, recommend leaders for service opportunities, and establish necessary leader position descriptions, skillsets, behaviors, and competencies for ADHA service. LDC will be content advisors for implementation of leadership engagement resources, activities, and programs.

Elected Leadership & Appointed Committees Information
- Interested individuals should possess the following skill sets.
- Any active members may declare their candidacy for an elected position by notifying the Nominating Committee at NominatingCommittee@adha.net
- Submit your electronic Bio-Data Form for Elected Office by the first Monday of February. Submit your electronic Bio-Data form for Committee Positions by the first Monday in June.
- Office elections take place at the annual business meeting each year.
